Kamal Haasan was in the midst of filming for his next film, Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. He has also been hosting the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5-weekend episodes.
On Sunday (November 21), Kamal Haasan discussed his upcoming trip to the US and stated that he will not miss a single day of work. “Many assumed I’d miss this week’s Bigg Boss episode because I was in the United States,” he explained. “I am never one to skip work.”
Kamal Haasan revealed on November 22 that he had tested positive for the new coronavirus. “After my return from the United States, I experienced a minor cough,” he stated in Tamil. My Covid-19 test results were positive when I was tested. I was quarantined at a hospital in Chennai. People should be aware that Covid-19 is still present and should exercise extreme caution (sic).”
