The country is seeing a rapid surge in daily cases since January first week. Covid-19 situation is worsening with each passing day as India is recording more than 2 lakh daily cases from the second week of January taking the Active cases tally to 7,36,628.
India on Tuesday records 2,38,018 fresh Covid cases in 24 hours. Meanwhile amid the ongoing spread of COVid-19 the country recorded 8,891 total Omicron cases so far; an increase of 8.31% since yesterday.
Active cases of India stand at 4.62%, recovery rate currently at 94.09%. 1,57,421 recoveries in the last 24 hours increases total recoveries to 3,53,94,882. Daily positivity rate (14.43%) Weekly Positivity Rate (14.92%).
India has administered 158.04 cr vaccine doses so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
