Nana Patole’s Modi appears before public

Umesh Gharde alias Modi has come to the fore to rescue Maharashtra Congress Chief nana Patole.

A few more persons came in public to defend Patole’s statement during a discussion with party workers during Bhandara Zilla Parishad election campaign. The video of Patole saying “I can abuse Modi. I can beat Modi”, became viral on social media. Patole faced a difficult time as Bharatiya Janata Party leaders condemned his statement and many others lodged complaints with the police.

BJP leaders even demanded registering FIR and his arrest for making such a statement against the Prime Minister.

Patole, however, had stated that he was talking about a village goon, called Modi and not Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Villagers in Sukli, native place of Patole, also had stated that they are not aware of any goon called Modi. Police had also stated that no offence is registered against any person called Modi.

On Friday evening one person, whose real name is Umesh Gharde suddenly appeared and said that he had issued threats to some persons. He is called Modi by the villagers.

Meanwhile Cyber cell of the Bhandara Police is verifying the video. Further action can be initiated only after the Cyber Cell’s report.
