Bharat Bodade, an employee in Police Department, Nagpur, bagged ‘Mahapaur Shri 2022’ award in physique competition organised joinly by Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Bodybuilder & Fitness Association, Vidarbha, with approval by Indian Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation.
Pankaj Dhakulkar from Wardha was adjuged as Best Poser in the competiton. Dayashankar Tiwari, the Mayor, gave away the awards and prizes to winners at a function held here on Saturday. The Vidarbha level competition was held at Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel grouind, Kacchi Vias premises on Friday. Corporator Narendra (Blya) Borkar has been organised the competition during the past seven years that provided platform to youths interested in bodybuilding.
In all 93 persons took part in this competition. The first prize carries Rs 20,000/-, second prize – Rs 15,000/-, third prize – Rs 10,000/-, fourth prize – Rs 7,000/- and fifth prize of Rs 5,000/- Tiwari gave away ‘Mahapaur Shri 2022’ award, Rs 51,000/- and shield to Bodade and Rs 31,000/- prize to Dhakulkar and others.
