Gifted with talent to sing in both Male and female voice with equal command, Sairam Iyer is called the Eighth Wonder of the world.
On the third day of the ‘Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav ‘ Sairam presented songs, solo and duets, originally sung by great singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsale, Alka Yadnik and Kishore, Rafi and others.
It was difficult to recognize that one Male singer is singing the duets.
Sairam had visited Nagpur for inter-university singing competitions as judge. Singing in female and Male voice together is one achievement. But acquiring skill and finesse in singing like Lata, Asha and Alka with equal command is difficult, which Sairam ha gained. He presented songs including Aao hujur tumko (Asha), ‘Aisi ye diwangi’ (Alka), marathi songs ‘Sunya sunya ya mifilit’, ‘Mi dolkara, dolkara’ , ‘ nabha utaru aale’ to show his talent.
Sairam was accompanied by Manisha Jambhotkar, Sarvash Mishra, Ulka.
