Diversion of traffic from Ganeshpeth Police Station to Ashok Chowk due to cement work

The Traffic Zone, Cotton Market, has issued a directive about diversion of traffic from Ganeshpeth Police Station to Ashok Chowk as Drushti Structural Engineering Pvt Ltd has to complete left side cement road work from police station to Ashok Chowk.

The traffic moves on day and night on this road and hence it is important to keep control on the traffic. As a precautionary measure to avoid congestion or accident, the directive that is application to May 3.

The traffic from Ashok Chowk will be from the other side of ongoing work and then to Ganeshpeth Police Station. The heavy traffic such as buses, travels or trucks would be diverted from Ashok Chowk, Baidyanath Chowk, Jadhav Chowk and Ashok Chowk route or Ganesh turning, Tilak statue, Shivaji Chowk, Ram Cooler Chowk and to Ashok Chowk.

The traffic coming from Chitnavis Park would go from Tilak statue, Shivaji Chowk, Ram Cooler Chowk and Ashok Chowk or Tilak statue, Agyaram Devi Chowk, Baidyanath Chowk, Jadhav Chowk and Ashok Chowk.

The traffic going from Jadhav Chowk to Model Mills and then to Ashok Chowk will go from Baidyanath Chowk, Ashok Chowk route or Agyaram Devi Chowk, Tilak statue, Shivaji Chowk alternate route.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) has appealed to citizens to follow the changes for inconvenience.
