The teacher with Sindhu Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, Rakesh Gedam has been suspended following complaints of harassment of girl students. The Officiating Principal Dr V M Pendse issued order of suspension on Saturday.
Dr Pendse has also stated that the complaints have been forwarded for internal enquiry relating to indecent behavior of Gedam with girl students. He has also been alleged to have demanded sexual favours for clearing the examinations. Some students were threatened with marking fail in examinations by Gedam. Many students have stated that his indecent touch was noticed by many girl students.
Finally some students also lodged a complaint with Panchpaoli Police Station. They have demanded stern action against the teacher.
