In a noble gesture, Adv Manjeet Kaur Matani, a noted social worker, donated sheds to slum-dwellers residing near Itarsi Bridge, Byramji Town, as they were shelter less during monsoon.
Adv Matani along with her team visited the people belonging to weaker sections of society and learnt that they were facing the problem of sheds during rains and were disturbed mentally and physically. Moved by their grievances Adv Matani made arrangements for providing shelter to these poor people, who complained that no political leader looked at their problems like electricity and drinking water.
The slum-dwellers expressed their heartfelt thanks to Adv Matani.
