The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRTC) has extended the last date for making smart cards till August 31 to facilitate sen ior citizens’ Pandharpur pilgrimage for Ashadhi Ekadashi.
MSRTC gives concession in bus tickets to senior citi zens. It has made smart cards mandatory for all those who want the conces sion. On May 30, 2022, it extended the last date to get smart cards made to June 30. But many senior citi zens have still not made their smart cards. Now, considering the inconven ience senior citizens might face during the Pandharpur pilgrimage during ashadhi ekadashi days, MSRTC has given two more months of exten sion to them. Now, senior citizens have time till August 31.
