In a tragic incident, two youths drowned in Kanhan River in Mouda town on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Rahul Thombre (25) and his friend Umesh Thakre (27), both residents of Gorewada.
Upon getting information Police rushed to the spot and with the help of local divers launched a search operation to locate them.
According to information both attended a private function and following the function both decided to go for a swim, however, both were swept away due to the strong force of the river.
