Social service branch of city police have busted a sex racket running under the garb of a spa under the jurisdiction of Bajaj Nagar police station. Police have booked manager Ranjit Haldar, a resident of West Bengal and owner Goranga Biswas. While police have arrested Haldar, Biswas is currently absconding.
According to sources, sex racket was being run at the Dilight Unisex Saloon and Spa located between Laxmi Nagar Square and Mate A,aaSquare. Police received a tipoff about it and sent a fake customer.
The accused allegedly used to charge 2,000 for massage and more money for ‘other services. As soon as money changed hands, the police phunter informed cops and a raid was conducted. Cops rescued three women who are learnt to be localite, and arrested Haldar. The duo allegedly used to force the women into the flesh trade by luring them with money. The accused have been booked under sections of The Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
