A campaign is being launched on September 11 (Sunday) to linking aadhar number with election card at 4,000 polling booths in Nagpur district. The employees will also undertake the works like registering names of new voters, deleting names etc.
Dr Vipin Itankar, District Collector, has appealed to the citizens to take maximum benefit of the facility on Sunday. he said that as a responsible citizen it is necessary for linking aadhar card with election card. The campaign is being launched at polling booths in Nagpur and at schools in towns/villages, he pointed out.
