Under the guidance of Smt Richa Khare, Divisional Railway Manager and monitoring of Shri Krishnath Patil Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, a Massive -Ticket checking drive was conducted over the Nagpur Division of the Central Railway on 28.9.2022, at Nagpur, Wardha, Amla and Ballarshah. During the drive Rs 10.70 Lakhs from 1753 passengers were realized from without ticket/ Irregular traveling passengers and towards Unbooked luggage carried by the passengers. The check was supervised by Shri Sanjay Muley Assistant Commercial Manager (Ticket Checking).
Railways fervently appeals to the travelling public to travel with valid Journey tickets.
To provide last minute reservation facility, the passengers can avail the current – reservation facility after the chart preparation and before 30 minutes of scheduled departure of the train.
Passengers can avail the facility of instant unreserved tickets from ATVM (Automatic Ticket Vending Machines) at selected stations.
The Railways in its continued efforts to provide hassle free service and convenience has provided UTS mobile App wherein the passenger can book paperless Journey Ticket, Season Ticket and Platform Ticket through UTS mobile application and ticket will be delivered in the mobile application itself which is available on Android and IOS platforms. The passenger can travel without taking a hardcopy of the ticket. Whenever the Ticket Checking Staff asks for a ticket, the passenger will use the ‘Show Ticket’ option in the app.
