Aspi Bapuna, the chairman of Bapuna Group of companies will be inaugurating the tournament which will be held on 30th October at 8:30 am at the VCA Civil Lines ground. The age criteria for the tournament is under- 25 years and will be for one day.
Four teams will be competing for the top position in the Bapuna cup. Two local teams- Dinshaw’s XI and the Bapuna XI will battle it out against the two outstation outfits- Broda Cricket Association and Maharashtra Cricket Association. The teams that will be competing are: Dinshaw’s XI, Bapuna XI, Baroda Cricket Association and Maharashtra Cricket Association.
The under 25 age category has been included because the senior team is engaged in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 knoutout matches and there is no chance of their participation.
The matches will be played at the VCA Civil Lines and the VCA Jamtha ground. Live scroes will be available on VCA website.
