The Police have registered FIR against Dr Anahita Pandole in the accidental death of industrialist Cyrus Mistry. An offence under section 304 (a) relating to Culpable Homicide, has been registered against Pandole, who was driving the car, when the accident occurred.
The offence has been registered following statement of Anahita’s husband Darius Pandole recorded by the police. He described the incident to the police, which caused the accident. Darius was travelling in the car with Mistry.
The accident occurred on September 4 on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway in Palghar district, in which former Chairman of Tata Group Cyrus. Jahangir Pandole, a friend of Cyrus also died in the accident.
