Royal Premier Cricket League to begin on December 13, 2022, at Nagpur

The seventh edition of the Royal Premier Cricket League (RPCL) will start on December 13, 2022, at Nagpur, Mecosabagh Methodist ground, Kadbi Chowk.

In all, 20 teams will be participating including 280 players who will be part of RPCL 7. The fourth season of the RPCL Corporate League Season will also begin on December 15, 2022.

Eight teams will be part of RPCL Corporate League Season 4 which will be played on a league cum knock–out basis and will kick-start on December 13, 2022.

The participating 16 teams will be divided into 4 divisions and play on a league cum knock-out basis. Two teams from each zone will qualify for the knockouts. Four teams will join them in the pre-quarter-final phase.

Champions will get Rs 2 lakh as prize money besides the trophy. Runners up will get Rs 1 lakh as prize money. Individual awards including man-of-the-match for each game will also be handed over to respective winning players.

The best batsman, bowler, and man-of-the-series will also be awarded. The All India cricket league includes top national players who will participate in the winter cricket carnival.
