Nagpur recorded a minimum of 17.8 degrees on Saturday

Although minimum temperatures continued to drop further but marginally, all cities in Vidarbha continued to have appreciably to markedly above normal minimum temperatures. Met office has predicted a drop of 2.0 to 4. degrees in the next 72 hours but there will be not much further change in minimum temperatures thereafter.

 With light showers on Friday evening, the city temperature dropped by 1.1 degrees compared to Friday. Nagpur recorded a minimum of 17.8 degrees.

While Akola continued to be warmest at 22.1 degrees (9.1 degrees above normal) which was a rise of 1.1 degrees, Gadchiroli too continued to be coldest at 15.6 degrees (a drop of 1.2 degrees).

The minimum temperatures in other Vidarbha cities in decreasing order are as follows –Chandrapur 21.0 (8.0 degrees above normal), Amravati 19.4 degrees (4.5 degrees above normal), Wardha 19.1 degrees (5.9 degrees above normal), Yavatmal 19.0 degrees (4.5 degrees above normal), Buldhana 18.8 degrees (4.7 above normal), Washim 18.8,  Gondia 15.8 (3.8 degrees above normal).
