‘Maha Assembly’ General Assembly App launched today for the winter session

Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde launched an application today called the ‘Maha Assembly’ with the aim of making all the information related to the session available to the Minister and MLA with one click during the session.

The event was held at Vidhan Bhawan in the presence of Neelam Ghore, Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis.

The application is currently available on the Play store on an experimental basis and can be made available to Ministers, MLAs, and secretaries. Improvement and information will be done and updated in this app in the coming time. This application has been created under the guidance of Divisional Commissioner, Vijayalakshmi Bidri and Collector Vipin Itankar. For the development of this app, special assistance has been given by the office of the District Information Officer.

Session Diary through the ‘Maha Assembly’ app, details of various meetings held during the session, a Telephone directory with important telephone numbers, and complete information about the accommodation arrangements will be available on this app during the convention.

The application was highly praised and appreciated by the Chief Secretary of the state, Manukumar Srivastava stating that it is a good concept. During his presentation, the app was presented.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Rahul Narvekar reviewed this app and expressed the feeling that this app will be very helpful and important.

The application has been developed by rural students of Settribe, an IT company operating in Kinwat, a tribal-dominated taluk of Nanded District. Sarang Pradeep Wakodikar, director of Settribe, was recently awarded as the state-level winner in the E-Governance category in the Startup Yatra initiative. The skills of rural students have come to the world globally through this app.

Wakodikar said, “ the tireless work of the Settribe students created this application in just 4 days and implemented it and got special guidance from Maharashtra Innovation Society.”
