A video showing utensils being washed in MLA Hostel’s toilet was seen being played in Assembly. According to Ajit Pawar, the leader of the opposition, MLA Amol Mitkari issued a video in this regard. Pawar brought up the problem, claiming that while the MLA Hostel’s exterior had been decorated, the rooms lacked basic amenities. Although millions of rupees have been spent, parliamentarians do not have access to amenities. A three-week winter session is required for the role. But in this instance, the dishes are being cleaned in the toilet. Water is not present. I have no idea how hygienic the hands that prepare and serve food are. Facilities are not provided to MLAs. Meanwhile, after the matter was brought up in the Assembly, the Public Works Department’s officers and contractors sprang into action and claimed the video to be fake. They asserted that the MLA Hostel was not shown in the footage that MLA Mitkari provided. The video’s background doesn’t fit the hostel at all.
