132 cases of public unsanitary incidents reported by NMC’s fuss search team

The Fuss Search Team of the Nagpur Municipal Corporation has initiated stricter action against those who litter, throw garbage, spit, use plastic bags less than 50 microns in public places. On Monday, January 2, the investigation team registered 132 cases and collected a fine of Rs 56800.

In order to keep the city clean, penal action has been initiated against the citizens who throw garbage on the streets, sidewalks, spitting, dirtying, littering, using plastic bags by shopkeepers and citizens. 1500/- rupees were recovered by registering 3 cases of open defection by the Fuss Search Team personnel (Fine Rs. 500/-) in public places like on roads, footpaths, open spaces. Handcarts, stalls, Panthelas, Hawkers, small vegetable vendors registered 37 cases under unsanitary conditions in the vicinity (Rs. 400/- Fine) and recovered Rs.14800/-.  

Any person throwing garbage in public places like road, foothpath, open spaces (100/- fine) under 19 cases were registered and a fine of Rs. 1900 was collected. Under (Rs. 400/- Fine) Rs. 2400 fine was collected and 6 cases were registered under shopkeepers throwing garbage in public places such as roads, foothpath and open spaces.

Malls, Restaurants, Lodging, Boarding Hotels, Cinema Hall, Catering Service provider, etc. have been registered and charged a fine of Rs. 4000 under 2 cases of littering on road, foothpath and open spaces (Rs 2000/- Fine). A fine of Rs 1000 was collected under 1 case of Construction of traffic road pavilion, stage, etc. or closed for personal work.

A fine of Rs. 2000 was collected under 2 cases of dumping garbage by workshop, garages, etc. on road, foothpath and open spaces. In addition to this, a case was registered against 41 persons and a fine of Rs. 8200 collected. A fine of Rs 21000 was recovered from the nuisance creating organizations in 21 cases.

Under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Mr. Radhakrishnan B., Chief Head of Fuss Search Team Veersen Tambe , head of Laxmi Nagar zone Mr. Sanjay Khandare, head of Dharampeth zone Mr. Dharmraj Katare, head of Hanuman Nagar zone Mr. Pawan Dongre, head of Dhantoli zone Mr. Narhari Virkade, head of Nehru nagar Mr. natthu Khandekar head of Gandhibagh zone Mr. Sushil Tupte, head of Sataranjipura zone Mr. Premdas Tarvatkar, head of Lakadganj zone Mr. Sudhir Sudke, Aashi Nagarzone Mr. Sanjay Sonone, Mangalwari zone Mr. Narendra Turkar took actions along with their team members.
