Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, the Shershaah couple, are reportedly getting married in the first week of February in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The wedding is set to be a two-day event that will include sangeet, haldi, pheras, and a reception ceremony. Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, and other Bollywood celebrities are expected to attend the lavish wedding.
SID-KIARA’S JAISALMER WEDDING
According to an insider, the wedding will most likely take place at the five-star Suryagarh Hotel in Jaisalmer. The property has been reserved for four days and features two gardens, 83 rooms, and a courtyard. “Sid and Kiara loved the property and wanted to make it their wedding location,” a source says. The guests will begin flying two days before the pheras and will stay at the property’s luxurious villas. Guests have been assigned special suites to meet their needs due to the large size and stunning view from each room.” According to the source, the couple wishes to keep their wedding small and intimate. As a result, they have finalised only a few names from the industry to be invited to their big day.
ABOUT THE WEDDING RECEPTIONS
Following the wedding, Sid and Kiara plan two receptions: one in Delhi, Sidharth’s hometown, and one in Mumbai for fraternity members. According to the source, the Delhi reception will be planned as soon as the wedding in Jaisalmer is completed for their close friends and family. Sidharth’s family is already making preparations. Later, a Mumbai reception is planned, and all close fraternity members will be invited.
For their wedding, the couple is going to consider wearing Manish Malhotra’s wedding contour. Sid will wear an off-white sherwani, whereas Kiara will wear a red lehenga for a traditional look.
Sid and Kiara are both working hard to complete their final photo shoots before the big day. Sid’s next appearance will be in Mission Majnu. Kiara was most recently seen in Govinda Naam Mera.
