NMC’s Wall Painting Competition’s result is out now

On behalf of the Municipal Corporation, various professional and student painters of the city who brought life to the otherwise silent walls of the city by artistically beautifying them were honored. Prashant Kuhite and his professional painter group won first place in the wall painting competition held in December, while Darshan Devte and team took the honors. Radhakrishna B., the commissioner of the Municipal Corporation (NMC), asserted that this wall painting competition is the start of a resolution to make Nagpur a clean, beautiful, and healthy city.

Zero Waste Program

The concept of zero waste was successfully applied in this significant award distribution event with the goal of making Nagpur city beautiful, clean, and healthy. Littering was avoided throughout the program. The entire program evolved into zero waste initiatives. The guests were honored during the program by receiving Tulsi plants in earthen pots rather than plastic ones. Additionally, glass and clay cups were used to serve tea. The commissioner urged the general public to put zero waste principles into practice in their own ways. The audience thanked the Municipality for this.
