Youth thrashed and car damaged severely by goons at Dharampeth, Nagpur

On Sunday afternoon, a group of hooligans dashed and damaged a youth’s car before thrashing him in broad daylight on VIP Road in Dharampeth. The incident’s video quickly went viral on social media.

According to sources, the complainant, Pratham Sarda, a Gandhibagh resident, was driving to Traffic Park from Bhole Petrol Pump Chowk to meet his friend Kunal Sarda around 4 p.m. He came to a halt in front of the Smoke Zone Restaurant to purchase a cold drink.

He parked his car on the side of the road and walked to the restaurant. Nikhil Hiranwar (23), a resident of Gawlipura, Dharampeth, came from behind on his bike and dashed  Pratham’s car. The car’s side mirror was damaged. Pratham noticed it and told Nikhil to stop. Nikhil began abusing him and attacking him.

Meanwhile, three of Nikhil’s companions joined in and started beating Pratham. People gathered when they saw the fight and rescued Pratham from the attackers. In the meantime, Pratham’s friends arrived and rushed him to the hospital.

Pratham went to the Sitabuldi Police Station and filed a complaint after receiving treatment. Nikhil and his relatives were involved, according to the police. Cops quickly captured Nikhil, who had also been charged with crimes. Nikhil, Nilesh Hiranwar, and other relatives were all involved.

According to sources, the accused is always causing fear in the Dharampeth area. They are frequently seen causing a ruckus in front of hookah parlors in Sitabuldi and Ambazari, with police taking no action.
