Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra shared a never-seen before-the-scenes look at their wedding on social. Kiara posted a video from their jaimala ceremony in which she danced down the aisle and shared an adorable romantic moment with Sidharth. The short video won the hearts of fans, who called it picture-perfect.
Kiara shared the 90-second video, which included a snippet of their wedding, with the caption “07.02.2023. The video starts with a massive door opening and Kiara walking into the venue with her brother and cousins. The bride dances down the aisle in a pastel pink Manish Malhotra lehenga as Raanjha, a song from their film Shershaah, plays. Sidharth taps his watch jokingly to indicate she is wasting time.
When Sidharth moves back as Kiara tries to wrap the garland around his neck, the video cuts to their jaimala. As Kiara looks exasperated, the actor eventually relents. As the jaimala ceremony begins, confetti is thrown on them, and the couple shares a dreamy, romantic kiss with the magnificent venue in the background. After their pheras later in the day, Sidharth and Kiara stare at each other with folded hands at the end of the video.
“Too sweet!” actress Ananya Panday said in response to the video. “Uff, I’m crying,” Rakul Preet Singh added. Other celebrities who blessed the couple included Neetu Kapoor, Sayani Gupta, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Prakruti Mishra.
Sidharth and Kiara married on February 7th at Jaisalmer’s Suryagarh Palace in a lavish ceremony attended by close friends and family. Shahid and Mira Kapoor, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Armaan Jain, and Isha Ambani were among those in attendance. In 2021, the couple met on the set of their film Shershaah and began dating soon after. They hid their relationship for a long time and even avoided wedding questions until recently.
