Under the Ambazari Police Station, two hookah parlours were raided following which offences have been registered against four people. The initial raid took place at Millenium and Dollar Cafe. The police received information about the illegally operated parlours.
The police raided the location and discovered 8 people, including young women, smoking hookah at the parlours. The managers of the parlours, Manish Ninawe of Bhilgaon and Ajay Kishor Singh of Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, have been taken into custody.
Material worth Rs 18,000/- was seized by the police. The second raid took place at Villa 55 Cafe in Valmiki Nagar.
