The 72nd Foundation Day of Nagpur Municipal Corporation will be celebrated on March 2.
The day will be celebrated by garlanding the statue of the first Mayor Bar Sheshrao Wakhede at the NMC’s head office premises.
Coincidentally his daughter Kunda Vijaykar subsequently became the first woman to hold the coveted position.
