NTPC Mouda Distributes Nutritious Ration to TB Patients

Nutritious ration was distributed to TB patients on the occasion of World TB Day on 24th March 2023 by NTPC Mouda under Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The World Health Organization has set a target of making the world completely TB free by the year 2030 and this year the theme of the event was “Yes! We Can End TB”. Every year 24th March is celebrated as World TB Day during which initiatives are taken to spread awareness and related information about TB. A balanced and nutritious diet is very important to fight TB, so about 72 patients were given nutritious ration by NTPC employees’ NGO Prerna which will be repeated every three months for one year. Ration was distributed to all the patients by Mr. A K Manohar, Head of Project and he said that NTPC is always ready to uplift and help the surrounding villages and its residents and will continue to work in the same way under its CSR policies. On this occasion, Shri A K Bari, Chief General Manager (Project), Shri M Kale, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance), Shri BSV Bhaskar, General Manager (Technical Services), Shri Subhashish Guha, General Manager (Operation), Taluka Medical Officer and senior officials of NTPC Mouda were present.
