A criminal involved in MD smuggling and his accomplice have been caught by the Tehsil police. Goods worth Rs 2.55 lakh including MD have been recovered from them. The accused has been identified as Akshay Bandu Wanjari (25), and Yogesh Gajananrao Khapare (25).
Akshay has been selling MD for a long time. Yogesh works in a cafe. Both used to sell MD. During patrolling on Wednesday night, the Tehsil police came to know that Yogesh was selling MD in front of Mayo Hospital. On this basis, the police raided and caught Yogesh. MD was found with him. He said that Akshay had given it to him.
