The Advisory Society of Shri Ganesh Mandir Tekdi has proposed the construction of a sanctum sanctorum for Lord Ganesh, using 400 kg of silver, as the temple’s development nears completion. The announcement was made by the society’s president, Arun Limaye, during a press conference on Tuesday.
The project is estimated to cost ₹4 crore, and Limaye has appealed to devotees to contribute silver for the sanctum. Additionally, Jagadish Jangid and his son, Dr. Kamal Jangid, have taken responsibility for constructing the sanctum sanctorum of the Mahalaxmi Temple within the premises, with Rajasthani artists working on the golden throne.
