The Numismatic Research Institute is hosting a three-day All India Competitive Numismatic Exhibition from Friday to Sunday at the Ramgopal Maheshwari Sanskrutik Hall, Mor Bhavan, Rani Jhansi Square, Sitabuldi. Visitors can explore the exhibition daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will be inaugurated by renowned historian and archaeologist Dr. Chandrashekhar Gupta on Friday at 11 a.m. During the inauguration, Prof. Kiran Kumar Thaplyal from Lucknow will be honored with the prestigious ‘Nagmoney – 2025 Jeevan Gaurav Puraskar’ in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field of Seal and Sealing Numismatics.
Ashok Singh Thakur announced that this will be the 17th edition of the exhibition in the city during the press conference held at Tilak Patrakar Bhavan, Nagpur. The display will feature ancient coins dating back to the Chandragupta Maurya period, coins from the British era, as well as coins from the Vidarbha region up to the present day. The top three entries in the exhibition will receive trophies, with consolation prizes also being awarded. Additionally, all dealers and participants will be presented with certificates.
