Nagpur: As part of the ‘Samvidhan Jagar Abhiyan,’ a marathon promoting the values of freedom, equality, and fraternity will be held in North Nagpur at 6 am on January 26, Republic Day. The initiative, led by MLA Dr. Nitin Raut, aims to spread awareness about the principles enshrined in the Indian Constitution, informed Suresh Patil during a press conference at the Press Club on Thursday.
Route and Participation
The 3.4 km marathon will commence from Bhim Square and conclude at Jay Bhim Chowk in Yadav Nagar. Participants will pass through key locations, including Bara Kholi T-point, Indora Square, Ashok Square, Char Khamba Square, and Rani Durgawati Square.
The event is expected to see participation from authors, professors, teachers, and students, alongside Dr. Nitin Raut. Registrations for the marathon can be done online. All participants will receive a cap, T-shirt, and a participation certificate.

Key figures present at the press conference included Thakur Jagyasi, Satish Pali, Dipak Khobragade, Vinod Kut, and Suresh Jagyasi, who emphasized the importance of such events in fostering unity and awareness of constitutional values.
