Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to open
Vidarbha’s Mega Industrial Expo, Business Conclave and Investment Summit ‘Advantage Vidarbha 2025 – Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav’ will be inaugurated by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at 10.30 am on February 7. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will remain present.
Gadkari is the chief patron of the event hosted by the Association for Industrial Development (AID), and will be held at the Nagpur University post-graduate teaching departments’ campus on Amravati Road from February 7 to 9.
Maharashtra’s Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Industries Minister Uday Samant, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth will be the guests of honour. Renowned business leaders including Sajjan Jindal, Balasubramanyakm Prabhakaran, Roshni Nadar Malhotra, Atul Goyal, and GBS Raju will attend the event.
A wide range of products and multi-sectoral industries at over 300 stalls will display their produce. These include about 100 micro and small scale industries. Defence PSUs, Ministry of Steel and Mines, Airport Authority of India, SEBI, Central Board of Direct Taxes, Department of GST, Posts, Government e-Marketplace (GeM, Educational Institutions will also participate.
Business seminars and technical sessions on diverse fields including steel, defence, aviation, bamboo, dairy, education, IT &ITeS, logistics, startups, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, tourism, textiles, gems and jewellery etc will be held during the three-day event.
The expo will also feature Dolly Chaiwala, who gained international fame. Food courts, e-gaming zones and entertainment also are parts of the exhibition.
The concluding function at 5 pm on February 9 will be graced by Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, CM Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra Ministers Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Sanjay Rathod, Adv Ashish Jaiswal and others will be the guests of honour.
