Indian cricket star Virat Kohli sustained a minor injury during a training session on Friday, just ahead of the much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand on March 9.
According to Pakistan’s Geo News, Kohli hurt his ankle when a ball struck near his knee, forcing him to temporarily halt his practice. The Indian medical team quickly attended to him, applying a spray and wrapping the affected area with a bandage.

Despite initial concerns, the team management has reassured fans that Kohli’s injury is not serious, and he is expected to be fit for the final. Following the incident, Kohli remained on the field, closely observing the rest of the team’s training session.
