With this development, Amravati Airport is now recognized as a licensed Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) airport. This upgrade is expected to boost economic growth, tourism, and development in the region.
Alliance Air will commence flight operations on the Mumbai-Amravati-Mumbai route, initially offering services three times a week. According to Fadnavis, as per the government’s commitment, flight operations will begin by the end of this month.
This new connectivity is expected to provide better travel options for residents and businesses while strengthening Maharashtra’s aviation network.
