Round 2 of NEET UG Counselling 2025 is set to commence on August 29, with the National Medical Commission (NMC) confirming an increase in the number of MBBS seats available from this round. The complete counselling schedule, covering choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting deadlines, will be published shortly on the MCC website: mcc.nic.in.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN ROUND 2?
Round 2 is open to a new set of candidates as well as those who wish to upgrade. Students falling under the following categories are eligible:
Candidates who did not register or apply in Round 1.
Students who registered but were not allotted any seat in Round 1.
Those allotted a seat in Round 1 but who did not report to the college.
Candidates who joined the process in Round 1 but now wish to upgrade to a better seat.
However, students who have already accepted and reported to their Round 1 seat will not be eligible to participate again in Round 2.
