To ensure smooth and reliable electricity supply during the upcoming Ganesh festival, Mahavitaran has scheduled essential maintenance work. As part of this, power supply will remain suspended for three hours—from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.—on Monday, August 25, in Tulshibagh and surrounding localities.
The repair involves restoration of the ‘standby’ cable on the 11 kV Tulshibagh feeder line. This cable, connected from the 33/11 kV Godrej Anandam substation, will undergo repair work near the D-Mart area. The shutdown has been planned to complete the work before the festival begins.
Areas to be affected include Saraipeeth, Gulabbaba Ashram vicinity, Dasara Road, Rahatekar Wadi, Bhutiya Darwaza, Tulshibagh, Gujarwada, Upadhye Road, Kothi Road, Naik Road, Bhosle Vihar, and Navi Shukrawari.
Mahavitaran has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to citizens and appealed for their cooperation, stating that the repair is crucial to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the festive period.
