Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, Nagpur organized a grand program titled “Guru Dakshina” at Raisoni Auditorium. On this occasion, Jain teachers from Nagpur district were felicitated, and their outstanding contributions in various fields were appreciated. The atmosphere of the event was such that it appeared like a “Kumbh Mela of teachers.”
Around 40 schools and colleges participated in the event. Teachers from Medical, Engineering, Law, Ayurveda, Science, Arts colleges. CBSE, State Board schools, as well as Zilla Parishad schools were present. Special honors were also given to teachers from schools for the differently abled for their dedicated service and efficiency.

The Chief Guest, Shri Prafull Ji Parekh, former National President of Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana, urged teachers to take a step forward by associating with the “Triratna Program” along with education. An open dialogue session between him and the teachers was also conducted.
On this occasion, Shri Sachin Ji Kothari elaborated on the main objectives of the program—value addition in education, dissemination of accurate information, scholarships, guidance, and counseling.
Brahmacharini Didi Preeti Ji of Pratibhasthali Gyanodaya Vidyapeeth, Jabalpur emphasized the importance of values and ethics in education and appealed to end the growing bureaucratic mindset in society.
Advocate Preeti Raka shared significant information related to the minority community.
The Chief Guest Ritu Kataria (President, Tejaswini School) highlighted the vital role of women in every sector of society.
Nagpur District President of the Sanghatana, Pooja Tated, welcomed everyone and motivated the teachers to continue their work of enlightening society. Dr. Sumeeta Jogad stressed that students should be given such education that makes them financially self-reliant.
The program was beautifully and systematically conducted by Vandana Bhansali.
The success of the event owed much to the contributions of Shri Sachin Kothari (Mahavir Hostel), Shri Pradeep Ji (Deepak Packaging), Shri Rupam Ji Bardiya (Jain Vidarbha Professional Academy), Shri Anand Ostwal (Jainam Hostel), Shri Anand Chopra (Novelty Stationery, Sadar) and Raisoni Group of Education.
The program was graced by the presence of Shri Rajneesh Jain, Shri Anil Jain, Lashkare Ji, Avni Badani, Sawan Bhatewara, Nitin Pohare, Ramesh Kochar, Pawan Khabia, Sanjay Bhansali, Dr. Gautam Jogad, Piyush Kataria, Amit Parkh, among many other dignitaries.
Significant support was also provided by Sadhana Pohare, Ashwini Baid, Geeta Chhallani, Rani Parkh, Akash Gandhi, Neetu Kataria, Rupali Ranka, Archana Shravane, and others.
Finally, Shri Pradeep Ji Jain delivered the vote of thanks.
The core message of the entire event was — to promote originality-based education and to encourage value-oriented teaching in society.
