Nagpur: The XSIO Industrial Park Pvt Ltd has announced a ₹700 crore expansion of its Industrial and Logistics Park at Wadgaon in Hingna taluka, situated along the Samruddhi Mahamarg (Expressway). The foundation stone for the project is scheduled to be laid in November.
The new phase is part of the ₹5,127 crore investment agreement that the Maharashtra Government signed with XSIO in May 2025 to strengthen the state’s industrial and logistics infrastructure. The expansion is expected to generate around 3,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities and boost local economic development.
Currently, the park occupies 105 acres. The upcoming expansion will add 2.3 million square feet of Grade-A industrial, warehousing, and storage facilities, designed to meet global standards suitable for automotive, FMCG, e-commerce, precision manufacturing, and 3PL (third-party logistics) sectors.
Next-Generation Industrial Infrastructure
According to the company, the new facilities will feature smart, technology-driven infrastructure, including plug-and-play, ready-to-move, and built-to-suit industrial units. The project will comply with stringent ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) norms and include solar power generation, zero-discharge wastewater systems, rainwater harvesting, AI-enabled management tools, EV infrastructure, and energy-efficient lighting systems.
₹2,000-Crore Investment Across Maharashtra
XSIO Group Managing Director Ashish Agrawal said the company has also committed to an FDI-backed investment of over ₹2,000 crore across Maharashtra, expected to create more than 10,000 local jobs.
Nagpur’s Strategic Advantage
Highlighting the project’s importance, the company stated that the expansion reflects its long-term vision of supporting Maharashtra’s industrial transformation and positioning Nagpur as India’s logistics capital. With its prime location on the Samruddhi Expressway, the park is set to serve as a strategic hub for industrial and logistics operations across Central and Western India.
