Gopichand P. Hinduja, Chairman of the Hinduja Group, passed away at a hospital in London at the age of 85.
British House of Lords member Rami Ranger expressed condolences, calling Hinduja’s death “the end of an era.” In his statement, Ranger said, “With a heavy heart, I share the tragic loss of our beloved friend Mr. GP Hinduja, who has departed for his heavenly abode. He was one of the most gracious, humble, and loyal friends—a true well-wisher of the community and a guiding force.”
Ranger added, “I had the privilege of knowing him for many years. His sense of humour, commitment to the community, and devotion to India were remarkable. He always supported good causes and has left behind a void that will be hard to fill. May his soul rest in peace. Om Shanti.”
