The 64th Maharashtra State Amateur Marathi Drama Competition will commence today at Vasantrao Naik Smruti Sabhagruh (VANAMATI), Nagpur, and will continue from November 9 to December 7.
As part of the month-long theatre festival, a diverse range of plays will be staged, including ‘Laathi’, ‘Gangmat Aste Natayachi’, ‘Mahakavi Bhakt Ambeghosh’, ‘Patlanchya Gani’, ‘The Rain in the Dark’, ‘Vinayak’, ‘Kida’, ‘Gaganbhed’, ‘Zindagi Dhoop Tum Ghana Saya’, ‘Samorchya Gharat’, ‘Exit’, ‘Bahuroopam Holi’, ‘Vishdhar’, ‘Ether’, ‘I Love You Robot Atvi’, ‘Chindichi Zhali Sindhu’, ‘Veer Baburao’, ‘Ranmard’, ‘Everything Is Not Fair’, ‘Thiya’, and ‘Shikkar’.
The competition, a celebration of Maharashtra’s vibrant theatre tradition, continues to provide a platform for emerging talent and innovative storytelling in Marathi drama.
