Cardion Hospital successfully hosted Beyond Bypass: Where Life Begins 3.0 – Evergreen Heart, a heart-healthy walkathon, on November 9th, 2025. The event brought together bypass surgery patients, families, friends, and the community to celebrate life, health, and resilience.
Chief Guest Mr. Soodesh Berry graced the occasion, which featured a short walkathon route suitable for all fitness levels, refreshments, and heart-healthy educational talks. The event also showcased a unique skit ‘DIL KE SHOLEY’ and a musical program by Dr. Nikunj Pawar and Cardion staff.
Dr. Pawar, Director and Sr. Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Cardion Hospital, said, “We organized this Walkathon as a symbol of hope and resilience for bypass surgery patients, inspiring others on their heart-healthy journey. Life after bypass surgery can be vibrant and fulfilling.”
Dr. Asawa, in his talk, encouraged patients to consider Heart Bypass Surgery for multivessel disease and Left main stenosis, citing better outcomes compared to stenting. The audience appreciated his insights, and the program received great appreciation overall.
