The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened applications for 25,487 General Duty (GD) Constable positions in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Assam Rifles for 2026.
Vacancy Details:
- Total posts: 25,487 (23,467 male, 2,020 female)
- Category-wise: SC – 3,702; ST – 2,313; OBC – 5,765; EWS – 2,605; UR – 11,102
- Pay Scale: Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100)
- Posting: BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF
Eligibility:
- Age: 18–23 years (relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/Ex-servicemen)
- Education: Class 10 pass from a recognized board
- Extra Benefit: NCC certificate holders get up to 5% incentive
Important Dates:
- Application Deadline: December 31, 2025 (11 pm)
- Fee Payment: January 1, 2026
- Correction Window: January 8–10, 2026
How to Apply:
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) at ssc.gov.in.
- Login with OTR credentials and select GD Constable recruitment.
- Fill application form, pay Rs. 100 fee, and submit.
The examination is expected to be held between February and April 2026.
