The Balrangbhoomi Parishad, Nagpur Branch, organized a Multilingual Children’s Theatre Festival at Shri Sai Sabhagruha, Shankar Nagar, Nagpur, which concluded successfully amidst great enthusiasm.
The festival was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Nataraj Poojan by Saraswati Vidyalaya Principal Lakshmi Srinivasan, environmentalist and social activist Vijay Limaye, President of Balrangbhoomi Abha Meghe, Executive President Sanjay Rahate, Shraddha Telang, and organizers Vilas Kubde, Prashant Mangde, Anil Dev, and Kishor Dau.
During the festival, South Indian Education Society, Nagpur presented the Tamil play “Saraswati Sabyam”, written by Subbulakshmi Perumal and directed by Bhavani Venkatesh and Anagha Pendke.
Saraswati Vidyalaya High School and Junior College, Shankar Nagar staged the Hindi play “What is True Patriotism?”, written by Sanyukta S. Gupta and directed by Shailendra Thakur and Sanyukta Gupta.
SIES School of Languages, Visual and Performing Arts, Nagpur presented the Telugu play “Nrusimha Swami”, written by Pravina Mattaparthi and directed by Anuja Kolte, Kaveri Naidu, Archana Rao, and Madhuri Inmula.

JN Tata Parsi Trust, Nagpur staged the Hindi play “Nadi Ke Paar”, written by Harsh Nagbhide and directed by Asma Naz Qureshi.
JN Tata Parsi Girls High School and Junior College, Nagpur presented the English play “Harmony Heights High School Education Election”, written by Shazia Amin and directed by Manisha Sawlani and Sana Khan.
Sindhudi Youth Wing, Nagpur staged the Sindhi play “Der Aayad, Durust Aayad”, written by Kishor Deepchand Lalwani and directed by Gurumukh Motwani.
Anjuman High School, Nagpur presented the Urdu play “Padosi Ke Huqooq”, written by Masarrat Jahan and directed by Firoz Khan.
Buddhist Academy of Performing Arts, Nagpur staged the Pali play “So Eko Rajahanso”, written by Disha Gayakwad and Ashwini Modak and directed by Ashok Jambhulkar.
At the valedictory function, Sunita Munje, Secretary of the Maharashtra Rashtra Bhasha Sabha, Pune – Nagpur Divisional Centre, was present as the chief guest.
All participating institutions were felicitated with mementos, while the artists were awarded certificates and gifts.
The successful organization of the festival was made possible through the efforts of Sanjay Rahate, Vilas Kubde, Prashant Mangde, and Anil Dev. On this occasion, several theatre personalities including Ramesh Lakhamapure, Aparna Lakhamapure, Archana Shravane, Anagha Pendke, Ishwari Pandey, Sakshi Polke, Sunita Munje, Rupali More, Nilesh Khandekar, Kishor Dau, Kishor Battase, Dr. Anil Kavade, Amol Nimbharte, Rashmi Jamdar, Satish Kalbande, Pravin Pardhi, Ramesh Bhisikar, Shwetal Savarkar, Shruti Sorte, Sonali Tambe, Pawan Borkute, and many others were present.
