The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit cards on January 17, 2026. Registered candidates appearing for the January session can now download their hall tickets from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
According to the latest update, admit cards have been issued for candidates scheduled to appear for the examination between January 21 and January 24, 2026. The NTA has clarified that admit cards for candidates whose exams are slated for January 28 and January 29, 2026, will be released separately.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examinations will be conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, 2026. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) will be held in two shifts each day, with the morning shift scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and the afternoon shift from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Candidates must report to their allotted examination centres strictly as per the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
Candidates can download the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 admit card exclusively from the official portal. Entry to the examination centre will not be permitted without a valid admit card and a government-approved photo identity proof.
To download the admit card, candidates need to visit jeemain.nta.nic.in, click on the “JEE Main Admit Card 2026” link, enter their application number along with date of birth or password, submit the details, and download and print the hall ticket for examination day use.
The admit card contains key details including the candidate’s name and roll number, application number, date of birth, gender, category and PwD status, exam date, shift and reporting time, test city and examination centre address, as well as the candidate’s photograph and signature.
The NTA has advised candidates to download the admit card well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues. Candidates must verify all details carefully and contact the NTA immediately in case of any discrepancy. Carrying a printed admit card along with a valid photo ID is mandatory, and all exam-day guidelines must be followed strictly to avoid disqualification.
The agency will continue releasing admit cards for the remaining examination dates in phases. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates and announcements.
