The first T20 match of the five-match series between India and New Zealand will be played on January 21 at the VCA Stadium in Jamtha. Members of the Indian T20 squad began arriving in Nagpur on Saturday evening via different flights.
Ravi Bishnoi, Rinku Singh, Ishan Kishan, and Sanju Samson reached the city between 6 and 6:30 pm.


Flights carrying Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma, and Shivam Dubey landed between 8:40 and 9:40 pm.

All players were escorted to Hotel Radisson Blu under tight security.

Dilip, Dayanand Garani, and Yogesh Parmar arrived in Nagpur at 9:40 pm. Long queues of cricket fans lined the route from the airport to the hotel in hopes of catching a glimpse of their favourite players.

The remaining Indian players and support staff will arrive in Nagpur by chartered flight on January 19, following the third and decisive ODI in Indore on Sunday.

The New Zealand team is also scheduled to arrive in Nagpur on the same day.
