The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has contacted the International Cricket Council (ICC) to start talks after earlier boycotting the February 15 match against India. PCB had withdrawn from the game citing government instructions and invoked the Force Majeure clause.
After the ICC informed PCB about possible financial losses from the withdrawal, the board reconsidered its stand. The development raises hopes that the high-profile India-Pakistan clash in Colombo may go ahead as scheduled.
