A burglary has been reported at a residential apartment in Nandanvan area, where gold ornaments and an Apple Watch collectively valued at Rs 4,10,980 were stolen from a locked cupboard.Complainant Ganesh Jaganji Pardhi (55), a resident of Flat No. 203 at Shantinath Apartment, informed police that his wife had kept gold ornaments and an iPhone watch secured in a wooden cupboard on January 19, 2026.
On February 15, 2026, when she opened the cupboard to change her earrings, she discovered that the valuables were missing. Suspecting theft, the family approached police.Based on the complaint, Nandanvan Police have registered an offence against unidentified accused under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Police are examining possible entry points and scanning the area for clues. Investigation is in progress.
