The schedule for biennial elections to Maharashtra Legislative Council has been announced. The elections for seven seats will be held on March 16, between 9 am and 4om at Vidhan Bhavan premises in Mumbai.
According to the notification issued by the Maharashtra Secretariat, the nomination papers will be accepted between 11 am and 3 pm up to March 5. The scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on March 6 and the last date for withdrawing nominations will be up to 3 pm on March 9.
If required polling to elect the candidates will be held on March 16.
