The Vasantrao Naik Research and Training Institute (VANARTI), functioning under the Maharashtra Government’s Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department, has extended the last date for applications for its free online coaching programme for JEE, NEET and MHT-CET aspirants till June 15, 2026.
The coaching programme is aimed at students belonging to Vimukta Jati (VJ-A) and Nomadic Tribes categories (NT-B, NT-C and NT-D) from non-creamy layer families across all 36 districts of Maharashtra. Due to overwhelming response and repeated requests received on the institute’s helpline, the deadline was extended, informed VANARTI Acting Managing Director Prashant Vavge.
Selected students will receive free online coaching, along with tablets and internet data support to help them prepare for competitive entrance examinations from home. Maharashtra Minister for OBC Welfare and VANARTI Chairman Atul Save said the initiative would help students from economically weaker and rural backgrounds access quality education and strengthen their chances of success in competitive exams.
