Demonstrating its commitment to serving Maharashtra and the public round the clock, Indian Oil continued operations at its depots and terminals on Sunday, despite it being a weekly closed day, to ensure uninterrupted fuel supplies amid a sharp rise in demand across several regions of the state.
As part of its efforts to maintain seamless availability of Petrol (MS), Diesel (HSD), and LPG, Indian Oil kept key depots and terminals operational across Maharashtra, including Akola, Chandrapur, Manmad, Vashi, Miraj, Ahilyanagar, and Solapur, ensuring that supply chain operations remain smooth and uninterrupted.
The company is continuously monitoring fuel stock positions and closely coordinating logistics and distribution planning to efficiently address the enhanced demand scenario. Necessary operational measures have been put in place to ensure timely movement and replenishment of fuel supplies across affected regions.
IndianOil’s supply teams, transport networks, terminal operations, and select retail outlets are functioning round the clock (24×7) to ensure uninterrupted product movement, in line with the company’s commitment and the spirit of “We are always There”.
Appealing to citizens to avoid panic buying, IndianOil has advised consumers to continue normal purchasing behaviour and not indulge in unnecessary stockpiling of fuel. Consumers have also been urged to rely only on official communications issued by authorised agencies and IndianOil for accurate information related to fuel availability.
